Product Review - Spray-on Massage Oil
I love massages as much as the next person (if not more), so I was simply delighted when Babeland sent me a bottle of their very own Massage Oil Spray - giving me an excuse to both give and (more importantly) receive a nice, lubed up massage.
So I got out a towel that was going in the wash anyway, grabbed my gym partner after a particularly exhausting work-out, and got to “work” testing out this spray-on massage oil.
I’ve used a few different massage oils in the past (usually from Body Shop), so I was interested in how this one would compare. I tested massage-ability, ease of use, smell, and spill-ability.
What I liked: I loved how easy it was the apply the oil. With conventional massage oils, I always just poured a little puddle on my partners’ back and just hoped that it wasn’t to much or too little. With the spray pump, it was ridiculously easy to make sure that I had just the right amount of oil to lube the massage without leaving my pal oily and icky afterwards. Using the spray pump I was also able to get the oil exactly where I wanted/needed it, without it dripping or running off of my partner’s pack.
The massage oil worked very nicely itself, it didn’t dry out quickly but also absorbed well into the skin so that the consequences of giving a topless massage didn’t result in ick on the carpet or bed.
I also loved the smell of the oil (I was testing the “lilac woods” scent), it was a very cozy and relaxing smell - without being overpowering.
To test spill-ability, I left the bottle on it’s side during my massage - it didn’t leak at all. This is very good if you forgot to put the cap on and then got carried away, knocking the bottle over in the process. ^_~
What he liked: He liked actually getting the massage and enjoyed the smell of the oil as well: “it smells like sex” he said.
What we didn’t like: He found the spray a bit cold, but I think he was just being a wuss. Other than that, I don’t think there were any complaints! But a small warning, be careful to aim the spray properly; you don’t want to accidentally spritz oil on your sheets (or/and lay down a towel).
This would be great for: using any and every time you want to enjoy giving and receiving sensual massages, especially if you are someone who has trouble measuring out conventional massage oils.

Oh, I really liked this stuff too. I thought the scent would be too girly, but your friend is right…it smells very sexy.
Gotta dig out my bottle again soon; thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for reviewing Babeland’s Massage Oil! I work there and I use it all the time too - I love the idea of the spray bottle.
Did you mention which scent you used? I’d love to know.

rub your hands together
this warms the oil and hands
then give the massage.
