Product Review - The Teaser
Not too long ago, the lovely Laura of Laura’s Things kindly sent me The Teaser to review. The Teaser is a beautifully shiny toy made of two aluminum balls, one big and one small, joined by a metal shaft and a screw. It arrived discretely packaged in a brown box - the customs sticker read “larger alignment tool”, I’m sure my mailman really appreciated not knowing that he was really delivering a vaginal insert. ^_~
I quickly unwrapped The Teaser to find it stored in a red velvet bag with a small sheet of instructions on use and cleaning. As I alluded to above, The Teaser is a vaginal insert; you can insert either the small or the large ball (though Laura recommends the large ball and I agree) and allow the other to rest” just outside nearly tickling your clit“. Once inserted you can either play with popping the ball in and out or(/and) leave it in and carry on with your day. The point of leaving it in (I am actually wearing it right now) is to keep yourself constantly stimulated and “aware of sex and my sexuality.”
You really can walk around with this toy inserted, it feels very secure, so you could potentially wear it all day: to work, to the store, etc. Though people at your office might wonder why you are constantly rocking gently back and forth in your chair. ^_~
What I Liked: I love how this toy looks, it’s very shiny, and I love the weight of it. It’s very comfortable to wear and yet doesn’t let you forget that it’s there with constant subtle stimulation - just as Laura promises.
What I didn’t like: This isn’t really a complaint, but I was a tiny bit disappointed at first to find that I must be constructed differently than Laura because the outer ball doesn’t stimulate my clit - however, after wearing The Tickler for a little while, I don’t feel that I was missing out on much because it was still generally working as promised.
This Toy would be great for: anyone looking for a vaginal insert that you could wear for extended periods of time. You could incorporate this toy into a lot of different play or just wear it for a few hours before meeting with your lover - to make sure that you’re good and ready in advance. You could wear it (vaginally) during anal sex, wear it while you masturbate, or just wear it in public places for a little more excitement. Additionally, because this is a metal toy, it’s great for temperature play.

It’s an angle thing, the shaft would need to curve. But I don’t think you’d want the second ball right on your clit anyway, that could get uncomfortable.

Now you make me wonder; do people walk around in public with sex toys? Kinda creeps me out. Not to get off topic but would you say, from out of ten people, would do such a thing?

Sounds like fun.
I’d love to see a picture of it “in action.”

Do you think it would be more effective under pair of pants than a skirt? How did you test it?
How discrete is it? Would it show though work slacks?
Apologies for all the questions!

Anon1 - creeps you out or turns you on? lol I don’t think it would even be as many as one person in ten, don’t worry.
Anon2 - haha I’m sure you would
Anon3 - I don’t think what you wear will really have too much of an effect on it’s effectiveness, but I was wearing pants when I tested it. It was very discrete, I don’t think it would show through work slacks unless you had your legs spread wide with the pants tight against you and your co-workers were staring at your crotch. Which I don’t think happens in the average workplace.

Be aware that aluminium is toxic. Its role in various diseases is controversial, but it is forbidden to use it to make water pipes or cooking pans in several countries.
The solubility in the environment inside a vagina is probably very low however. Just to play safe I wouldn’t use for extended periods of time, and advise the maker to switch to stainless steel.

Actually the toxicity of Aluminium has to do with INGESTION. Users should be okay, so long as they aren’t grinding up and eating portions of The Teaser or washing it with Mercury in between uses.

Shay, do you think it needs to be designed so that the length of the connecting shaft can vary? Or do you think the difference reported between you and Laura RE the outer ball stimulating your clit is an angle thing? Not sure why I’m curious; must be having an engineer moment.
