Product Review – Pocket Rocket

The Pocket Rocket is a very well known vibe. People love it because it’s small, powerful, non-phallic, and super easy to use. I got mine from the good people at Intimate Gifts.

The package says: “Small enough to fit into your purse of pocket, yet powerful enough to massage those tight spots…” Hmmm tight spots, eh?

I was curious to compare it to the mini mite, since they have a very similiar design, so I got them both out on the counch and did a rigorous comparison.

What was different: Although these two vibes look very similar in style, there were a few differences. In particular, the version of the Pocket Rocket that I got wasn’t waterproof, so it is a strictly dry land toy (no showers, no bathtubs, no pools), but it did have more speed settings than the mini mite, which seemed to have only one. The Rocket was also a little more solid; the vibrations were more steady and controlled which meant that it didn’t make my hand feel funny while I held it.

What I liked: I definitely liked the feel of the Pocket Rocket, it’s simple but… nice. And again, I find this style of vibrator is much easier to use, the Rocket is small and easy to manouver so you can get the vibrations exactly where you want/need them. I’m not into dipping with vibes, so this type of vibrator is pretty much perfect for me.

What I didn’t like: Well, it would have been more fun if it had been waterproof, because you can get a lot more use out of a waterproof mini vibe – they just go more places – but it’s really not it’s fault that this particular Pocket Rocket wasn’t waterproof. And in comparison with the mini mite, although the Rocket is more comfortable the hold, the “looser” vibrations of the mini mite were a little more exciting. But overall there wasn’t really anything that I hated about it.

This toy would be great for: someone who wants a good, solid, easy to use, discrete vibrator, someone like me, who doesn’t care about dipping. It’s simple, it works, and your mom wouldn’t realise what it is if she saw it laying on your bedside table – she also won’t be able to hear it when you use it in the middle of the night. Guys, this is also a fine toy for you; you can press it under the head of your cock, anywhere along the shaft, or behind your balls to make everything feel nice.
