What to do When you Find Something “Minnow-y” Online
“I’ve been frequenting your site for about a year now and I’ve learned more than I would have ever imagined. I figured it’s about time I ask my own question. ok, i was “browsing” the web recently(I’m sure you catch my drift) and found something on google. I don’t remember the site name or anything, but i remember seeing ‘Lolita’. At the time the only thing I thought of was it as a name of a latino pornstar or something. So i clicked it and found the sickest thing I’ve ever seen. Apparently there are these modeling agencies for young girls, but they barely have enough clothes on to be called models! I don’t understand how this near porn for underaged girls is legal! Seriously how IS this legal?!“
Depending on what you found (as in how much the girls were showing) the images you saw may not have been legal. However, a lot of Lolita sites make money (and stay in business) by using girls that only LOOK underage, but who are actually 18 years old (or older). It’s all about the fantasy when it comes to porn after all.
If you look around really carefully, you should be able to find the 18 U.S.C. 2257 Compliance Statement (usually in very small print at the bottom of the main page) saying that the girls are of legal age. Of course there are sites who do seem to get away with covering only the essential parts of their underage girls and calling them models.
In conclusion, if you can’t find the statement and the pictures look a little too sexually oriented, it might be a good idea to report the site, just in case.
In terms of Hentai, drawings of OBVIOUSLY underage characters are usually refereed to as Loli, but the legalities of viewing or possessing this varies depending on where you live.
P.S. We have talked a bit about barely legal porn HERE as well.
[P.P.S.: you get the title right? minnows are underage fish thus: fishy - minnow-y. Yeah, I'm a riot, I know.]

Just to add a comment on this topic, in the US, there is even a law about models that are over 18 dressing, acting and/or pretending to be underage in adult content. In some cases, it applies to erotic stories as well. Next stop: Controlling what you are thinking.
