My problem is there is always a quick discomfort upon entry and then my body adjusts and I am fine after that. The few times that I have felt continual pain and chafing, has been when I've had a yeast infection. Those tend to dry you out. I had no external clues that I had had a yeast infection at the time and discovered that I had a mild one when I went to the gyno. Just a thought... but I'm sure this is not your problem.
