Porn, Little Brothers & The Sugasm

I had a weird dream last night. I was reading the paper and came across the Sunday comics – in a full colour little booklet. I was reading the first page when I spotted a funny Garfield comic (I actually don’t think many Garfield comics are funny) – the punchline makes no sense now that I’m fully awake but what caught my eye was that Garfield was in a big number 6 costume and Odie was sitting next to him in a big 9 costume.

My dream self decided that this was hilarious and needed to be shared with others, so I gathered up the paper to show to a group of friends who were nearby.

But as I flipped through the rest of the comics on my way other there, I noticed something odd – there were quite a few comics with full frontal nudity, and anal sex, and bow jobs, and girl-on-girl and well, a lot of sex and nudity!

“What luck!” my dream self thought, as I examined each illustrated sex act and read their flimsy three-five panel plots.

I brought the comics over to share with my friends, but discovered that my little brother was around. In my dream he had reverted back to a younger version and I was adamant that he only see the Garfield comic and not the other, more explicit, comics.

Anyway, the point of me telling you my dream was that it reminded me of this slightly awkward time when my brother was 14-15.
It was my first summer home from university and during the two semesters that I was aboard for school, I had managed to download quite a lot of porn and hentai. I had carefully tucked my goodies away into slightly obscure folders on my computer, out of casual eyesight.

I kept my laptop in my bedroom, but all summer I kept noticing strange things. For instance, I would come home from the beach and find my desk chair pulled out from my desk – when I was certain that I had pushed it in! Or I would come into my room and find my laptop open when I was sure it had been left closed!

At one point I checked “recently accessed files” for a picture that I wanted to show to a friend. My picture wasn’t listed there, but a whole bunch of porn images were! Porn that I had been too busy to look at since I had come home.

Was my porn lonely and had been opening up by itself in an attempt to get my attention?
No, I didn’t think so either.

It weirded me out that my brother was looking at my porn. Especially because I could see exactly what he had been looking at! It felt too weird that he and I were both getting turned on by the same images.

I ended up lecturing him about how he needed to learn to be MUCH more sneaky if he was going to do something like that. I explained to him about how he needed to leave a room how he found it and how to clean out certain folders that keep a record of what he’d been looking at on my computer and online.

I overlooked the Maxim mags that I was finding in the cupboard under the bathroom sink (when I was looking for tampons or sunscreen) but if he was going to be sneaking my porn I just didn’t want to know about it.

After that summer I always burned my porn off on to a CD (kept with my music CDs) before I went home for the summer. I hope my brother wasn’t too disappointed. It’s not that I didn’t want him looking at porn, I just didn’t want to share mine.

My brother and I are great friends and he’s almost 18 now. We’ve talked a bit about sex in general and sex issues, but there’s just some things that I don’t feel comfortable sharing with him – my porn included. Now before you even ask, yes my brother knows about my blog, he’s even seen it in it’s earlier form (my “give-me-pink” banner embarrassed him- hehe), but as far as I know he doesn’t know the address and doesn’t read it. And that’s how I’d prefer it at this point.
