No TMS in Women?

I was thinking about traumatic masturbatory syndrome and how it’s pretty much defined as a Male sexual dysfunction.

[To recap for those of you who missed it and are too lazy to click that hotlink, TMS is what happens to some (many?) men who masturbate in the prone position (laying face-down and humping your mattress/floor/hand/etc), a method that puts a lot of pressure on the penis.]

From what I’ve read, aside from damaging your penis by putting all this pressure on it, the other main concern about masturbating in the prone position is that it stimulates the penis in a way that is “unnatural” – in that is it impossible to recreate during penetrative sex. Even the tightest vagina (or ass) won’t be able to squeeze you as tight as your body weight against your mattress/floor/hand/etc. Hence the anorgasmia during sex.

But what about women? We can masturbate in the prone position too, and the sensation of rubbing your clit between your body weight and your mattress/ hand/teddy bear/etc is definitely more pressure than can be recreated during penetrative sex – even with a reach-around.
I suppose we aren’t really at risk for breaking out clits, but does no one care about us getting TMS and not being able to come when we have sex?

Then again, since apparently only 30% of women can/do orgasm during penetrative sex, maybe no one would notice if some fraction of the 70% suffer from TMS.
Besides, with all the various ways that women seem to be able to reach orgasm and the different types of experiences that we might classify as orgasms (personally, I have at least 3 distinct types of orgasm), maybe I’m worried over nothing.

There is a way to recreate it during penetrative sex though. Several that I can think of.

Use a little imagination and you can think of them too. *wink*

    Do you really think so?
Listen, I’ve got a clit and I can’t think of any easy ways so you’re going to have to illuminate me.
Even in reverse missionary, my hips would be tilted too far back.

hmm… maybe with a pillow, but that could still be tricky. There is a delicate balance – you wouldn’t want too much pressure or for the pressure to be too constant, that would just result in a loss of sensation.

I might have to play around with this, but I don’t think we’re going to come up with a good way for women to achieve this particular type of stimulation during sex.

Prove me wrong folks, prove me wrong.

I used to fuck my ex-girlfriend in missionary and stay in deep, so that my pelvic bone would rub against her clit… it drove her wild.

it would be nice to know this anonymous guy or girl ideas.

and about the subject i don’t know, i cant seem to have pleasure like that maybe i am doing it wrong XD.

and about woman TMS i think i read man TMS because of masturbating on that position, its an hypothesised medical condition. so its not fully proven.

I agree with anonymous. This was one of my wife’s favorite positions, back when we were still having sex (ahem.)

Don’t know the name for it, but it seems to be a variant of the reverse missionary position, but she would bring her legs together and I would wrap my legs around hers, effectively pinning her lower torso to me. Then I would pin her arms across her back, and she would be effectively restrained by my body, and the only thing she could do was grind her clit against the base of my cock and my pelvic bone. The pinning of her this way provides tremendous pressure, and I can increase the pressure by actually wrapping her legs with mine. (Hard to describe, so that probably didn’t make any sense.)

She had some great orgasms this way. But the male does have to be a bit flexible…

I dont know about matteress but I can make great use of the seam of a good fitting pair of jeans….still havent found a way to recreate that. I have made my sensitives part a bit raw though. SO does that qualify as trauma? I dont know.. but it sure was fun.

I really can’t comment on TMS in men, because that’s not the way I masturbate. But I’ve observed my wife laying on her stomach as she’s humping her pillow, and I can assuredly say that she suffers from no sexual dysfunction. She has regularly masturbated by laying on top of usually a pillow, though sometimes the bed mattress, or a stuffed animal, and rocks back and forth to get a good pussy rub going, till she makes herself cum, and still we have fantastic sex. She has gotten herself off like this for years now, prefering to hump inannimate objects to using toys or her fingers.
